Clinical Observation in 171 Cases of Electrical Burn Patients

Abstract
This clinical study was mace of analysis of 104 cases with hurdle branch block which was interpreted among 4, 971 adult electric cardicgraphies checked in the ECG room of Fan 1 Hospital during the past 4 years from September 1968 to September 1972.
This study was made on 104 cases according to age and sex distribution and underlying diseases evaluation, i.e. physical status, clinical symptom, X-ray finding, ECG, and Laboratory data. The results authors obtained were as follows.
1. The overall incidence of hurdle branch block among total cases was 2. G9%, i.e., incomplete right bundle birch block (ICRFEB) was 1. 17%, ccn7Plete right bundle branch block (CRBBB) was 0. 80% , and complete left hurdle branch block (CLBBB) was 0. 12%.
The mean rage was 49. 1 in cverail EEB, 44. 1 in ICR.BBB,. 45:0 in CRBBB, 58.2 in CLBBB and above the age of 40 was 2. 1 times more than below the¢¥ age of 40.
3. There was male predominance, the ratio between male and female was 2.08 : .1.
4. Considering the underlying diseases, hypertension, hypertensive heart disease, and/or coronary heart disease group was the most common and rheumatic heart disease was the next common without regarding to the type of BEB and the above two were main underlying diseases of BBB.
5. 56.8% in ICRBBB, 41.5% in CRBBB and 11. 1% in CLBBB had no underlying diseases.
6. 59 among 104 cases had other abnormal ECG findings, in which sinus tachycardia was most commonly encountered, especially in RBBB and rare in LBBB.
